Write down what you noticed
When did it start? What changed? Does it happen every time? Exact error wording, sounds and patterns are more useful than a guess at the cause.
Bring only the accessories that matter
A power adapter, unusual dock or device involved in the fault may be needed. Unrelated accessories create confusion and loss risk.
Know what data matters
Identify important folders and any backup that already exists. Do not send passwords or recovery keys in the first message. Full consent and protected paths belong in the later intake.
Describe prior work
Mention recent upgrades, resets, repair attempts, liquid exposure, drops or warnings. Hidden history slows diagnosis.
Expect a quote before repair
The diagnostic fee is $30 and is credited toward an approved repair on the same computer. Repairs are quoted separately and require approval before work begins.
